Looking for a
biohazard cleanup company that is honest, compassionate, and reliable? At BioTechs Crime & Trauma Scene Cleaning, we run our business with honesty and dignity at the forefront of all that we do. This means that we aren’t just in this for the money. We truly are here to help, and to contribute, and to ensure that you get the support that you knew when tragedy unexpectedly strikes close to home.
As one of the longest-running biohazard remediation companies in all of Texas, our strong moral standards are core to how we operate. This means that we won't judge you, or the lifestyle of the deceased. We have also returned thousands of dollars uncovered by our technicians in the area where we are cleaning. BioTechs has an uncompromising practice of threatening our clients, their families, our team, and other business owners as if we were treating our immediate family members.
Our company is staffed by local firemen, all of whom have cleared background checks, who are regularly putting their lives in harm’s way to help others in the community. That’s the exact type of standards that we wish to maintain. These firemen who work with us help to ensure meticulous attention to detail and trustworthiness is routine.
BioTechs Crime & Trauma Scene Cleaning has been assisting residents in Texas for the past two decades. Nearly 20 years ago the bio-recovery industry was still in its infancy.
Before opening our doors, families had no other options other than to clean up after a murder scene, suicide scene, and trauma scene themselves. This can be emotionally devastating to perform the cleanup themselves especially after hearing the news that they lost a loved one unexpectedly.
The company was founded by a form police officer who was the very last officer to leave a home where a suicide had taken place. A grieving mother asked who would be performing the cleanup? Little did she know that she and the family would be responsible to do the cleaning on their own.
That incident had a tremendous impact on the officer, and upon retirement, he decided to start BioTechs in an effort to give families in similar situations a means to help the healing to begin.
We specialize in working with grieving families, communicating with their insurance companies to increase the odds of them covering the cost of performing all of the work necessary, and move forward with the biohazard cleaning processes to remove all of the blood and body fluids in an efficient manner so that the property can be sanitized and disinfected. Our team suits up in hazmat uniforms to protect us from hazardous materials and surfaces, and even viruses, to ensure the safety of our technicians.
Besides crime scene cleaning, we also assist with:
Homicide Cleanup
Suicide Cleanup
Trauma Scene Cleanup
Murder Scene Cleanup
Decomps (also known as Unattended Death Cleanup)
Hoarder Cleanup
and Biohazard Cleanup
Some of the lesser-known services that we offer include vandalism and burglary, vehicle accident cleaning, rodent infestation, and drug or needle paraphernalia pickup.
The name “BioTechs” is short for “Biohazard Technicians”. BioTechs is OSHA certified, and our technicians are highly trained with years of experience under our belts. We are also a certified “Out, Respiratory, Personal” company, and in addition, we are certified “Protection, HAZCOM”. These certifications ensure that we meet and exceed all of the state and local requirements to effectively do our job in a way that gives our clients peace of mind knowing that harmful pathogens are not growing in carpet, furniture, or anywhere in the home after we are through.
Unfortunately for some families, issues arose after working with other companies only to have us come in weeks or months later to complete a job that should have been done properly the first time. In nearly every case like this the other company either (1) tried to cut corners or (2) they simply didn’t have enough experience to complete the task under every different situation.
BioTechs is one of only two members in the state of Texas approved by the American Bio-Recovery Association, also known as ABRA. ABRA is the governing authority in the US that sets the standards to ensure the safety of the public. We are also members of both the Dallas and Fort Worth National Association of Residential Property Managers.
The BioTechs Dallas location is run by both Jesse and Kathy Salazar. Both have been working together for the past 22 years. Prior to crime and trauma scene cleaning, Jesse was a licensed claims adjuster with 11 years of experience. He understands the policy coverage issues that come into play when trying to get your insurance company to cover the cleaning cost. His knowledge of the insurance industry only improves your odds of getting your claim approved so that work can get started at your property as quickly as possible.
Although Jesse and Kathy understand that attention to detail is vitally important, remaining sensitive to you and to the needs of your family during a difficult time equally as important. Our BioTechs family will do everything to remain extremely professional. Our knowledge and experience in the industry keep us ahead of other biohazard cleanup companies, but it is our willingness to do everything in their power to ensure that you get all of the help that you need to get through this trying time is what has proven to be time tested for nearly two decades.
